Family Friendly 4 Beds/Sleeps 6 In Peaceful Westland

This host was exceptional in meeting our needs after a horrendous first night at another VRBO location. We urgently needed a new location as the first location had significant security issues. This host came through with a short notice reservation that exceeded our expectations. Easy check in to a clean and secure property in a quiet residential location. Holiday decor was welcoming as was the coffee nook and fully equipped kitchen. Clear and constant communication was simple with this host. Highly recommend this location when Detroit area is your destination.

Very nice stay, comfortable and quiet neighborhood

Very nicely staged. Everything in the photos is just as pictured. Overall we had a nice stay. Great location in a good neighborhood. We were only there for two nights in town to visit family. But the devil is in the details. I had to do some cleaning to feel comfortable staying. I cleaned some mold from the fridge and mopped the kitchen floor. The floor had a general stickiness to it throughout the house. I would hire new cleaning people ASAP. They need to be vacuuming the vent covers, including the one in the shower. Actually, I would replace most of the vent covers as they look rusty. The doors and trim need to be repainted. They weren’t very well done in the first place and dirt is just clinging to them. I would recommend two coats of a semigloss so they can be wiped down easily. There are some other details that made me feel like I was staying with a relative who is not very good at DIY home repair and it made the overall feeling less than clean. (Lots of places with dirt on walls, cobwebs in corners, brown gunk on shower wall, not all lights work, light bulbs missing, caulk needs redone in several places. ) It was overall a decent enough house, just a lot of little details that made me not want to hang out there. Very cute decor, though!
