Escape to The Driftwood Cottage, a charming second-floor coastal villa with horizon ocean views from the balcony, inside Hilton Head Beach & Tennis Resort. You're about 500 steps from Bradley Beach and the resort's large oceanside pool. Fully renovated in 2021 and refreshed in 2025, this 540 sq ft cozy-modern getaway is made for couples, anniversaries, and small families with young kids.
Location and Views
From the second-floor balcony, you'll look out over the resort toward the distant ocean horizon. It's a great spot for sunrise coffee or an evening glass of wine as the light changes over the water. The beach and pool are an easy walk, so you can park the car for beach and pool days. The resort is walkable and family-friendly, with dining, tennis, and pickleball all on-site.

Two shared resort pools: a large oceanside pool right by the beach, and a smaller pool on the other side of the resort (a short walk, or drive and park). The pools are open 9am to dusk year-round.
Tennis and pickleball courts, one of the resort's main draws. We include one pickleball set, and more can be rented at the tennis shop. Book court times early.
On-site dining: a restaurant and a pizza spot are open year-round. The beach bar and ice cream stand are seasonal, roughly April through October. Hours vary.
Playground, bike rentals, and BBQ grills
Paid laundry room on the first floor, just below the villa and down the hall. Pay with a laundry card or the laundry app.
A free island trolley stops at the resort seasonally. It ends in early September, so don't plan on it in the off season.

Resort grounds, including the pool and beach, are open to you from 8am on arrival day.
Villa check-in is 4pm. If the villa is ready, you can often get in about an hour early at no charge. Check-in 3 to 4 hours early is $50 when available and must be requested ahead.
One parking pass is included. Additional cars are $35 each, per resort policy.
Extra towel bundles are $5 each if requested before arrival, or $5 each plus a $45 trip charge mid-stay.
The primary guest must be 23 or older.

This property was ideal for my family! We traveled with two young children, two adults and a senior. We were a 5 minute walk from the pool and beach! You can see the ocean from the patio. The condo was very clean. And had amenities, that were helpful on a beach trip. Like a wagon, beach chairs, and a shibumi. The kitchen had a coffee maker, coffee grinder and a French press! Plenty of kitchen items to cook, so you can cook meals. The resort itself had some fun things to do on different nights, they did a movie night, tye dye a shirt at the pool, a pool party and Karoke. We had food from the place near the pool and pizza from gatorz. I enjoyed the food at both places. Ricky gave some great recommendations, so I asked him for a few more and he was so responsive and kind. I would 100% stay at this condo again. Ricky and Andrea’s condo was a great homebase for our trip in Hilton Head! Thanks for being such lovely gracious hosts!

Five stars doesn't quite cover it. Ricky and Andrea were first-class from the very first message — responsive, warm, and genuinely invested in making my stay easy. I came in for a wedding at the Westin (a quick, beautiful walk up the beach) plus a couple of remote workdays, and Driftwood Cottage was perfect for both: spotlessly clean, well-stocked, with an ocean-view balcony I didn't want to leave and rock-solid WiFi for my morning calls. The resort pool and beach access were steps away. Early check-in and a flexible checkout sealed it. Easiest booking I've ever done — I'll be back, and you should book it.
