About this house rental
This space has been specifically crafted for your enjoyment, and we're excited to host you!
Built in 1903, this home has since undergone a serious remodel. The fully-stocked kitchen and 4-piece bathroom were updated in 2018, but that was only the smallest hint of the extensive remodel that was to come five years later. In the summer of 2023, we installed central AC, painted inside and out, expanded off-street parking, and tore out all carpets to refinish the original hardwood flooring. Nearly all furniture and furnishings are brand new, and all the linens certainly are!
Please note that this unit is part of a shared duplex, so please be courteous to your upstairs neighbors. Other than the driveway, there are no shared spaces. You have your own private entrance and the private backyard is included in your reservation only.
Toss all manner of sporting projectiles in the backyard surrounded by mature trees for shade and privacy or stay inside and enjoy the modern miracle that is WiFi!
Centrally-located in a quiet neighborhood, you can drive 10 minutes downtown to explore craft breweries, local coffee shops, parks, museums, boutiques, and fine or casual dining.
This lot is zoned multi-family, yet the property is surrounded by townhomes, one apartment complex, and single-family homes across the street. Within walking distance, the Safeway shopping center features:
-Metric Brewing: Serving an ever-revolving selection of craft beers on tap, this local brewery hosts a different food truck every night! Visit on Tuesdays for Trivia!
-Papa Murphy's: Pro-tip: $10 Tuesdays will get you a Large Take-N-Bake pizza.
-Laundry Time: You have a washer and dryer in the unit, but if you need dry cleaning, this is the place for you!
I am available to you 24/7/365 via my phone, though I do have "Do Not Disturb" hours established per my settings. This usually requires 2 calls in a row within a 3-minute span to get through. In the case of a non-911 emergency, please continue to call until I pick up . If the matter is non-urgent, I can usually give a quicker response via the messaging app.
-Available streaming services include Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, HBO Max, Hulu, Apple TV, and Sling. Guests can sign into their personal accounts with their login credentials.
-Internet speed: both 5 and 2.4 with 940 mbps (fasted speed available)
Check-in instructions and access details will be provided on the day of check-in.

Pet areas were great, plenty of space to let them run. Kids loved the game room. It was a little tight to watch football games on Sunday as there was no TV in the Living Room, but that was a first-world problem. We adapted.

Overall it was a nice house and welcoming. Had the essentials for cooking and if needed to do laundry, had detergent for that. The bedrooms were large with lots of room. One room had old school Nintendo which was cool. I gave 3 (3.5 but not an option) stars for few reasons. The appliances were out dated but worked. Our biggest problem was the people above us. Its a duplex and think the upstairs is also a short term rental and could hear every footstep, running water or even a pin drop. The main bedroom has no black out curtains. At night lights from the apartment complex shines through the normal blinds. When the sun rises at 5am (slightly after) in the morning its very bright in the room as well. So if a light sleeper wouldnt recommend. Lastly, the shower in the main bedroom is very, very small. Thankfully there are two full bathrooms. Overall though, it worked for us and the host responded promptly when we had any questions or concerns.
