The apartment itself was quite good. Had issues with shower leaking into rest of washroom, reported it and nothing done. Barking dogs and loud music throughout the entire stay, sometimes after midnight, 4:30 am, and 6 am. To know: VRBO has always taken my payment in the past. On the second day I received what felt like threatening messages from the host to pay up or be kicked out. I told them I wanted to confirm with VRBO first, because I am used to VRBO being the one to pay, but I continued to feel very threatened. Maybe it was language issues. VRBO did confirm that the host would take payment. Overall, the unit was good. The entire apartment may be quieter at times depending on other renters. Communication and service was poor.
