Il Suo Paradiso

I stayed at Il Suo Paradiso with my wife and two (young) adult daughters for 2 weeks in August 2026. We had a wonderful holiday at the villa and I would highly recommend it if you want a villa away from it all to completely relax. The villa had all we required for a great holiday. The gardens and pool area were fantastic and the pool cleaning man came twice during our visit to keep it clean and make sure everything was in order. The pool and surrounding area, with good sunbeds, table and chairs, gets the sun all day and the pool water temperature was just right (not sure if it was heated but it was warm enough for us). The villa is on the edge of the village and very private/not overlooked. The cleaner came twice to clean the villa and replace bedding/towels etc. No issues at all with cleanliness. The covered seating/dining area on the upper level was the hub of the home for relaxing and mostly in welcome shade during the day. The hammock was great for lounging and reading a book. The rechargeable bluetooth speaker was very useful. There was air conditioning in the kitchen diner and twin bedroom on the upper level, which worked perfectly. There was also air conditioning in the lower bedroom. The bathrooms and showers were great and we had no issues with hot or cold water. There is off-road parking next to the villa for your hire car (hire car is recommended as its about a 15 minute drive into Argostoli for the nearest big supermarkets, shops etc.) Roxani, the host, was easily contactable and responsive on Whatsapp to sort any issues. A couple of the fridge door shelves were broken when we arrived and once reported to her she ordered new ones which arrived during our stay. Overall, we had a super time and, as I say, I would highly recommend it if you want a quiet, private villa away from it all. If you want a villa in a busy area within walking distance of numerous bars and restaurants this isn't the place for you.

The remote control didn't work for the air conditioning unit in the lower bedroom. This meant the air conditioning in that bedroom was only controllable by the on/off switch on the air conditioning unit itself. Therefore, it was either on (the room got very cold) or off (the room got very warm). This made sleeping difficult because you had to keep getting up throughout the night to turn it on and off to regulate the room temperature. I reported it to Roxani who said the remote control sensor on the air conditioning unit was broken and they were awaiting a replacement part, but the part would take time to obtain in the holiday season. Unfortunately, that spare part didn't arrive during our stay. Roxani apologized.

Deze locatie is van alle gemakken voorzien. Het ontbreekt er aan werkelijk niets! Erg vriendelijk en goed contact met de eigenaresse. En het zwembad: fantastisch! Voor ons was dit een ideale uitvalsbasis om een groot deel van Kefalonia te ontdekken. Echt een aanrader!

Amazing villa with amazing views great pool and football area. Chess table , hammock and so much more. Fantastic little traditional restaurant a few minutes walk away. My boy also loved looking out for the local goats.

We have just returned from staying in this beautiful villa.  It is located within the village of Davgata we were here for 2 weeks this has been one of the most relaxing holidays we have had. The villa itself is well maintained over 2 floors bathroom on each with an external staircase which was ideal for our 2 teenagers as it allowed some independence but not too much. The villa has fantastic views from the balcony and each level of the gardens, lying in the Hammock reading or just chilling is something I will never forget, Swimming pool is a good size kept clean and well maintained as are the gardens. There are steps leading to each level. A car is a must; there is a local tavern which serves food and drink although we did not go as I have fussy teenagers. There are so many positives for us from having breakfast outside and hearing the goats from the local farm through the fields next to the villa to having family meals on an evening. The owner gives you all the information required before you arrived and will contacts you on arrival.  There is good communication with owner if any questions . We have been coming to Kefalonia for number of years if we return next year and If available, I would stay at this beautiful villa.

For us there were no negative points but we researched the location and were aware that a car is a must
