Hostel with options but lots of rules

Was looking forward to the vibe of the Hostel since it has been recommended to me by a friend. There's a lot of options offered from the hostel which is good since it's not located very central.

I was refused check-in because of my age. The check-in staff mentioned a clause on the booking.com page, which definitely was not included in the confirmation pages after booking the hostel. They also were really unfriendly and did not offer to help me in any other way after being refused. I need to admit that after all I was happy to not stay in the hostel since there were a lot of rules mentioned during check-in, which includes specific times for anything, no food or drinks from outside and much more. The vibe at the check-in wasn't as expected, so in the end I was happy I could get a nice homestay.

Party and Social

I love how it’s a lot of people but the hostel still enforcing rules to make sure all guests are comfortable. It’s definitely a party hostel and you can choose to be social but no pressure if you’re just wanna chill by the pool or be alone. A lot of events are held, like beer pong, quiz night, day trips to land tour or snorkeling tour etc. So far what I’ve heard about the good reputation of The Farm is true, it’s as good as what people said. All the staffs are nice and kind, amazing hospitality. Cheers to Kisty and all the other teams!

- The swimming pool water was green when I come here, it’s not ideal but it’s okay usually supposed to be blue ☺️ - the distance????? You have to be advanced - Pro in bike cause it’s so far from the harbour, better be here by ojek, or ask the hostel to pickup

Like a resort, a treat for backpackers

The gym on site is amazing, the spa is beautiful and offers free 15 minute treatments and the view from the pool is stunning!

One of the best hostels i have been to with potential to become the best

The Hostel is super nice equitted. You got a pool, a bar, a gym, you can order food there, rent bikes. You get there all you need. I personally rented a bike because i do it all the time but the tours there are so cheap. Its around to 240( sep 25) to get an island tour. So i personally wouldnt rent a scooter again. Just join the hostel and just get a scooter if you got real experience. I personally want to thank Gary, he is a social butterfly and partyanimal. You can chill with him during daytime and getin wild in the night. Ge interdruced me to a lot of people when i arrived on my own. If I had any questions, I could always go to him. Unfortunately, the food isn't as good as at the hostel in Canguu. I can't explain why, but it just lacks flavor. (the food in canguu, was really good) These are just minor suggestions for improvement, but a partition should be installed between the gym entrance and the hallway. It's impossible to relax in the sauna because it's so noisy. I would also replace the door handle on the sauna with a wooden handle. I really burned my fingers on it.

Nice place to be with friends or alone. Great atmosphere, restaurant, pool and party in the hostel ! Recommend it to everyone wanting to meet new people in Penida

Party hostel dream!

Beautiful new build hostel, modern and clean. The hostel is very large and social so you have the space to pick and choose what you do. Everything is on site with the beach restaurants a short walk away if you want a change of scenery. Everyone was very friendly too.

Not necessarily a fault it depends what you’re looking for. It was very alcohol based with most guests between 18 and 23 who were all hooking up with each other.

I will be going back!

The property as a whole was like something out of this world. Definitely the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Not to mention the workers and reps! Amy my girl made my experience x10 better, Maddie, Hattie, and Maisie as well all of you girls were so much fun and helpful🤍

I would say that a big issue for most of the people who can’t ride a bike staying there found it hard to get in and out because it’s a steeeep hill up and down. Personally I had no issue!

Excellent staff and great facilities!

The facilities are great, and once the gym is complete it’ll be even better. Ben, Gabby, Maddy, Maysie and Hattie were amazing and made us feel so welcome!

The food could have been better and blankets to sleep with were small.

L’ambiance, la salle de sport, la piscine, le restaurant et les chambres sont top!

Personnel pas toujours très à l’écoute et pas venu en aide à mes demandes, ma première journée a été un peu compliquée à cause de ça, je n’ai pas pu aller voir les plages connues de Nusa… Ils n’ont pas pu me louer de scooter non plus car plus aucun disponible, ou trop tôt dans la journée pour m’en louer un (ils étaient à l’accueil mais il était 7h30, donc trop tôt selon eux)

El hostal es muy lindo, tiene muchas personas trabajando que te atienden amablemente. Las áreas sociales son limpias, siempre hay alguien recogiendo los platos, vasos, etc. la piscina es muy linda, el agua es deli, y tiene una vista al mar relajante. Tienen gimnasio bien dotado de 2 pisos y un spa para hacerse uñas, masajes y demás. Los masajes son muy buenos

Queda lejos, en la montaña arriba. Si no sabes conducir moto te sale caro el transporte porque no funciona Grab ni las apps de transporte, solo se puede contratar a algún conductor de carro. No me gustó que solo tenga 1 baño para el cuarto de 8 personas. El wifi no funciona bien y menos en las habitaciones.

- Confortable, lit avec rideau pour plus d’intimité, propre, wifi fonctionnel, grand casier - Possibilité d’acheter à manger et de l’alcool sur place - Club pour les résidents à partir de 22h - Ambiance très festive et propice aux rencontres - Jeux/activités proposés le soir - Piscine avec très belle vue sur l’océan - Situé à proximité d’un très bon centre de plongée et de quelques restaurants (sinon il n’y a pas grand chose d’autre autour) - Système de sécurité - Présence d’un service de taxi (très cher), de laundry, une salle de sport, un spa - Très bon rapport qualité / prix +++

- Assez bruyant, il y a de la musique forte à partir de 8h du matin et jusqu’à 22h environ - La couverture est assez petite - Pas d’eau chaude (mais bon ça c’est Bali) - Il faut monter une énorme côte pour y accéder
