Sofia's Beauty apartments

For the price of a small hotel room, we got a large, gorgeous apartment with enough room to potentially sleep 6 plus another adult and a child if you use the sofas. Sofia and her husband were gracious and honest hosts and were so helpful. The neighborhood is nice with a bake and coffee shop on the corner, a small market a block and a half down, a larger market about 3 blocks down, and the metro station and some really good restaurants a few blocks from the apartment as well.

We misread the confirmation (language barrier) so did not realize that the apartment is the entire 4th floor. There is, however, a small lift to get you up there.

Ήταν όλα άψογα! Και σαν χώρος-σπίτι και σαν παροχές. Καθαρό, ευρύχωρο, άνετο μοντέρνο. Πολλά μπράβο στη κα Σοφία, η οποία ήταν ευγενέστατη και πρόθυμη να βοηθήσει σε ο, τιδήποτε. Θα το προτιμήσω σίγουρα ξανά.

Enormous and comfortable modern flat with 3 x good sized bedrooms (good bedding too), 2 toilets and a bathroom, a kitchen with a big fridge freezer, full cooker, microwave and fancy coffee machine. Sophia was an excellent and kind host meeting us at the property and still smiling even though, due to passport control and the non-EU queue being very slow, we arrived an hour later than we expected. Comms largely in Greek and not a problem with Google translate! Excellent Wi-Fi and a large flat screen TV made this a pleasant place to stay. There’s a fantastic balcony for outdoor dining, and for us the location is perfect for the KTEL bus station a mere few minutes away, including the bus stop from the airport. A great place for families as well as friends travelling together. Thank you Sophia, we will return!

Barista fans will love the coffee machine but a good sized cafetière would be nice for the mechanically inept amongst us! All else perfect…
