An ideal weekend retreat right next to the Bains de Saillon and the mountains.

We had a very pleasant stay in this apartment in Saillon. The place is large, clean, bright, quiet and very well located right next to the baths complex and restaurants; perfect for a relaxing weekend.

One thing to note is that the management company feels quite corporate and lacks a bit of the personal touch you might expect in a holiday rental. While they were helpful in confirming that bed linen was provided, any request for flexibility (such as dropping off luggage a little earlier if the apartment was already empty) came with predefined “early check-in” options at surprisingly high prices. Given that check-in is done via a key safe with no human intervention, it felt a bit excessive. Overall, the apartment itself is great, but guests should be aware that the management style is more hotel-chain-like than personal.

Great apartment in a beautiful location

This is a great apartment in a beautiful location. The view from the balcony are amazing. Communication with the host was outstanding. Not only did I receive written directions, but also pictures to demonstrate how to get into the apartment, the location of the apartment, the location of the laundry room with explanation of usage. The beds are comfortable and the shower is great. We were able to fix our own food in the apartment each night which was lovely. The kitchen has most of what you need in the way of pots and pans but there is only oil and salt for food preparation. There’s no paper towels. So, you need to plan accordingly when shopping. There is currently no fan in the apartment, but I did suggest that the host get one. They were having a hot spell while we were there with the temperatures of about 37°C. The apartment does have shutters, but it was still very warm. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. We would love to come back again someday.

Other than wanting a fan, there was nothing that we didn’t like. It’s an amazing place with fabulous hosts to respond very quickly to any question or concern.

L'appartement est propre et moderne. Il est situé tout près des bains thermaux. L'accès facile avec l'ascenseur. Place de parc à disposition.

En réservant le matin, l'hôte ne savait pas que nous arrivions le soir même. En conséquence, l'appartement n'était pas préparé. A notre arrivée, il n'y avait pas de lit bébé ni de chaise-haute comme mentionné dans la réservation. Les affaires pour faire dormir notre enfant de 18 mois ne sont arrivées que le lendemain à 17h30 malgré les téléphones et messages avec l'hôte. Le canapé-lit n'avait qu'un vieil édredon pour une personne en guise de duvet.

Aussergewöhnlich.

Insgesamt haben wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt mit Parkmöglichkeit gehabt. Die Aussicht zu beiden Seiten ist phänomenal (mit 2 grossen Terrassen) von hohen Bergen und Weinbergen umgeben, die zum ausgiebigen Wandern einladen. Die Unterkunft liegt in einem Areal mit riesigen Aprikosenfeldern (im Juli äusserst schmackhaft) und die bekannten Städte Montreux und Chamonix-Mont Blanc sind eine knappe Stunde entfernt. Eine Boulangerie ist nur wenige Meter entfernt, der Supermarkt ist in 5 Autominuten zu erreichen...die Unterkunft bietet einen wirklich grossen Wohnraum und Küche mit reichlicher Ausstattung. Zu erwähnen ist ebenfalls die angenehme und effiziente Kommunikation mit dem Apartment-Verwalter per whatsapp. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

Kaum zu glauben, aber nichts war auszusetzen.
