The accommodation itself was lovely. The scenery was beautiful, and the property was clean and well maintained.

I was very disappointed with the communication and customer service. Before making the booking, I specifically asked whether an early check-in would be possible. I was informed that if the cleaners finished earlier, an earlier check-in might be possible. As I had an air balloon activity early in the morning, I tried to contact the property afterwards to check whether the room was ready. I sent messages, called multiple times, and even went to the property in person. Unfortunately, there was no receptionist on site and none of my attempts to contact the property received a response for several hours. What disappointed me most was not the fact that early check-in was unavailable, but the complete lack of communication and customer service. When I finally received a response hours later, there was no apology for being unreachable. Instead, I was simply told, “We ask that you do not arrive before 3 PM.” Which there is no where showed “Do not arrive before 3pm”. I found this response unnecessarily rude and dismissive, especially given that I was only following up based on the earlier advice that an earlier check-in might be possible. A simple acknowledgement of the communication issue and a more courteous response would have made a significant difference to the overall experience.
