Localização, limpeza, luminosidade, eletrodomésticos, conforto. Nossa estadia foi perfeita.

The apartment is very well equipped, extremely comfortable and in a great location. We absolutely loved it and couldn't have asked for more. Checking in and out was very easy and straightforward. We didn't use the pool facilities but did have a look and found it to be clean and well maintained.

There is nothing we disliked.

The apartment was a typical holiday apartment. In all fairness it was clean,bright and spacious. Bottle of white wine left in fridge and a few toilet rolls. If you enjoy wine it can be purchased in the area for £2 a bottle ! The complex was 90% occupied by Portuguese holiday makers. Quiet outside. No lifts but a marble stairwell and only two floors with the apartment on first floor . The apartment didn’t give ‘Wow ‘ factor vibes but it was pleasant enough with fake plastic plants strategically placed and white towels rolled up hotel style and placed on beds with an array of co ordinating cushions,scattered . There’s a 10-15 minute walk down to the ferry area (but we had to ask people directions enroute ).The ‘ ferry ‘ -or more like a large speed boat - takes you across to a very busy beach (during height of the season),in just few minutes for about £1 return. Don’t think I’d want to do the’ ferry’ trip every day for 2 weeks, but for a few days it was a novelty . Though not advisable for anyone with a serious mobility condition . There’s a small array of the usual shops including two Spar supermarkets, and average type restaurants /cafes / bars dotted along a board walk. It’s not a glamorous location but relaxing ,pretty and authentic and the general cost of living is below the U.K.

Huge air conditioning unit elevated and situated on the balcony in the apartment which made sitting outside unbearable due to the heat omitted from the unit coupled with the actual air temperature of 30c.Using the BBQ, which was also on the balcony was a definite no go ,but it ticks the boxes giving the impression the apartment is well equipped. The nearest swimming pool is in another apartment block. You need to cross a road and enter using a fob, through large gates. There is no reception area, so absolutely nowhere to leave luggage for late flights . Also no luggage storage places in the area which isn’t commercialised. Host Wise advised to leave our luggage in a designated storage place for a charge but had failed to realise there were none in the area! I requested extra time of just a few hours and offered to pay but Host Wise refused saying they “ didn’t want to help “ (quote ) ! Though their online accommodation description advises extra time is a possibility. Ironically when we arrived at 3pm, having been travelling since 5am, we couldn’t gain access as the cleaners were still in the apartment. The previous occupants had been allowed extra time resulting in the cleaners running late ! We then had to sit outside in the searing heat for 40 minutes ! Not a great introduction .
