The palazzo is quite a space. Huge, high ceilinged rooms with 16th century frescoes. The 2 bathrooms were re-done to a very high level. The kitchen is enormous. If you were a family or couples traveling together in summer, this could be quite a find. I have a strong sense that even if it were hot outside in summer, the palazzo would remain cool. The walls must be 3 feet thick in places. Our host, Antonio, was a delight. We arrived late, but he was right there with us making sure all was well. He made a reservation for us at a local restaurant because we were close to the hour the kitchen shut down, and then gave us a ride so that we didn't get lost. The restaurant was Da Benedetto. Not only was the food superb, the proprietor gave us an "Antonio discount" on the check. The shaped pasta filled with pear and cheese ("fiochetti" or "sachetti") and sauced with mushrooms and subtlely-herbed olive oil was a knockout.
Our stay would have been completely different had the apartment been warm on our arrival and the hot water available and abundant. Our stay was in February and it was cold out. The apartment is huge, and our sense was a challenge to heat. It never really got warm, and there was not really adequate hot water. The breakfast service is a coupon for a coffee and cornetto at a local bar. That's fun if you're in the mood, but could be off-putting to some.

Огромная стильная теплая квартира в ренессансном дворце с фресками и огромным камином. Большие помещения, удобный душ и горячая вода. Удобная кровать. Место для любителей комфорта и старины. Огромная кухня со всем необходимым.
Сделать кодовый замок, что бы не ждать человека, который откроет квартиру (юноша очень милый, но не хотелось бы ждать во дворе).
