TUNERAS SUNSET Puerto Rico Apartment, Sea view, Pool, Perfect for sun lovers

The apartment was well equipped – it had all the basics and a few nice extras like an ironing board, sandwich maker, washing machine, and toaster. The location is very convenient – it’s about a 10-minute drive to the center and the beaches in Puerto Rico and Amadores. Right outside the gate there’s a taxi stand, a playground for kids and a separate one for dogs, a viewpoint overlooking Puerto Rico’s harbour and bay, and a shopping centre with shops, restaurants, and bars. Walking to the public beach takes around 30 minutes, but you have to be prepared for a lot of stairs going down the hillside. There’s also a bus stop nearby. The biggest advantage is definitely the pool, which is shared with other apartments – it’s cleaned daily and there are sunbeds available, although sometimes there simply aren’t enough of them. On the downside, the apartment isn’t particularly cosy – it lacks a bit of atmosphere and attention to detail, and unfortunately, the cleanliness could also be better. For a ten-day stay, we only received one set of towels (bath and face), one bin bag, and one roll of toilet paper. There’s also a hotel just behind the property, so for people who prefer early nights, it might be an issue as music plays until late. There’s no option for early check-in or late check-out, or even luggage storage. Overall, we’re satisfied and had a pleasant stay, but we did miss that feeling of comfort and being properly looked after.

Apartment had everything we needed. Other owners in complex were very friendly. Fantastic base for our holiday.Owner was very quick to answer any queries that I had Always had plenty of hot water and WiFi was excellent

We only had 1 set of keys which caused hassle when we wanted to go out separately even if there had of been 2 of the gate fobs we could have left the set of keys in lockbox. Couldn't figure out how to get oven to work but we made do Pool wasn't heated would be fine later on in year but was just too cold for February however we did see some people going into it

Very close to local amenities

Only issue was that the pool is not heated although the area around it is good
