Heartwarming Stay – Valentine’s Surprise & A Warm Welcome for Our Dog
Despite all odds, Shauna went above and beyond to get our room ready and even surprised us with an unforgettable Valentine’s Day upgrade. Her kindness and dedication truly made our stay special. We already held her in our hearts from previous visits, but this experience only strengthened that feeling. We were especially grateful that our beloved dog was welcomed with free accommodation, which meant so much to us. It’s not easy to find such genuine warmth and flexibility. The house is in a quiet area with convenient on-street parking and close to Bournemouth’s main attractions. Breakfast was fresh and satisfying each morning. Shauna was incredibly helpful with anything we needed, always attentive and warm. The shared bathroom was absolutely not an issue - as always, everything was spotlessly clean.
The only small downside was the alley leading to the house, which wasn’t fully finished. However, this was completely understandable given the recent continuous rains. Overall, we are forever grateful for such a welcoming and thoughtful host. We will gladly return again.

Quirky but caring
Shauna was very caring and considerate. I got REALLY wet, but she got everything dry by the morning. She is working hard to make the house and garden really nice for everyone.
It was cold and the central heating had failed. It was just unfortunate and she called someone out to fix it. I felt for her and she went overboard to be helpful, but it was just unlucky timing. The bed was really comfortable and warm, so I had two really good night's she provided an 'on the go' breakfast each day.

Very convenient for the ferry port. Shauna was friendly and welcoming and happy to meet my little dog. Her house was very clean and warm and comfortable and she provided everything possible for a very relaxing stay.

A lovely and peaceful place to spend the night. Clean, well maintained, and conveniently located. The check-in process was simple, and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Everything worked perfectly, and the bed was excellent for a good night’s rest. It felt cosy and well cared for, with nice attention to detail throughout.
