The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a small issue when checking out because I accidentally left my water bottle at the hostel. After contacting the staff, they were very responsive and assisted me greatly in retrieving it, which I really appreciated. Besides, the bed was clean and comfortable, and all of my roommates were respectful and friendly throughout my stay.

One thing to note is that the hostel does not provide shampoo, so you will need to bring your own toiletries. Additionally, I found the floor to be a little sticky at times, which may indicate that the cleanliness could be improved. If you are particularly concerned about cleanliness, I would recommend bringing your own slippers to wear indoors.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming.It is also in a good location and you can get access to anything you want anytime.The hostel is also very clean and people leave like one big family.Home away from home😊

I loved the energy of this hostel. I have stayed in many hostels and I feel that this one was more like a girls’ home or sorority house than a standard hostel, which I loved! The other traveller ladies staying here were so lovely, and Millie (sorry for any misspelling), Precious and the other helpers were so friendly and welcoming! It is a simple home but I had everything I needed. It is a short walk from Chan Sow Lin train station, Family Mart, 7/11 and many other shops. There is a laundry on the ground floor of the Hotel (I didn’t use but other guests did - I think it costs 10R per KG). You can use the good hotel pool and the gym too! And there is filtered water for free at the hostel. Such a great place and I wish I could have stayed longer! Thank you girls :)

Take note that the hostel is inside the One Stop Residence Hotel building, once you arrive you can message the hostel staff (or ask the One Stop receptionist to call them) and they will come and collect you from the hotel reception! Also, pack an eye mask and ear plugs if you are a light sleeper, as the bunks have no curtains. But, I always have these items when I travel so it was no problem for me :)

The volunteers were wonderful. During my stay I met many wonderful people.

Booking.com said that the place had air conditioning. The air con was only turned on at the discretion of the head volunteer. No where did it say there was a time window for the air con. After working remotely at night and sleeping day I did not have AC during my stay. Another guest who was causing problems for everyone had threatened me. We had an arrangement of a place where I could work, which is why I renewed. The owner decided that the aggressive girl that had threatened me could stay. Nowhere to work, and a safety issue because of the aggressive girl not being removed. I have so much more to say about the unethical behavior of the owner. However, there isn't enough space here. I left without a refund. Booking messaged the owner about issuing a refund. He ignored it and then lied about his ability to issue. This and the sister hostel Tikki are involved in this situation.
