LAWI Haven Homestay with Dorm

i love the loft/second floor type of apartment. we could just leave our stuff on the first floor and be comfortable on the upper part. i love how everything is accessible and friendly.

the lighting is a bit dark i wish there r more lights for optional use, the ac was not that cold but at least we have a ceiling fan, and the wifi was not that strong (cons for students with online meetings or those who have a remote job).

Staying in Lawi Homestay has been an absolute paradise for us. The dorm is very spacious! The beds are really comfortable. And everything is sooo squeaky clean. We loved how the place is so open but at the same time is so well-maintained. Even the kitchen is equipped with all the cooking facilities we need, and actually invites you to cook. I especially love that the beach is just almost 50 steps from our accommodation. We really had an amazing time here. Even the staff are so nice and so attentive.

The dorm rooms are equipped with fans and not with AC, but thats perfectly fine for us because island life wouldn't feel like so if our room is airconditioned.

Very friendly staff, they even let us use the showers once we had checked out. Stored our bags no problem. Very clean and comfortable, would recommend staying here. The dorms also looked very nice although we didn't stay in them.

La déco est très belle : pierre, bois, feuille de palmier. La salle de bain donne accès à l’océan. C’est exceptionnellement agréable et vraiment pratique. Prises proche des lits et ventilateurs individuels (attention pas de Clim), cuisine, frigo, eau à disposition. Personnel particulièrement gentil :) Lawi c’est tout à fait l’esprit des Philippines. Des gens adorables qui vous accueillent dans une maison charmante et spacieuse faite en matériaux naturels qui donne sur l’océan. L’ambiance est relaxante et ils vérifient si vous êtes bien. Très apprécié.

Manque de lampes individuelles dans les chambres. La maison est ouverte et il n’y pas de barrière aux moustiques. Prévoir anti moustique, et l’établissement devrait également en fournir dans l’espace commun. Malheureusement l’emplacement n’est pas idéal, il y a un coq qui commence son chant à 4h du matin sous la fenêtre. Si vous avez des bons bouchons d’oreilles, ça passe.
