Athina Rooms

George, Katerina, and Athina were incredible hosts. Extremely kind, welcoming, and hospitable. The property was located in a great area, only a 10 minute walk from the main beach and town area, and there are convenient markets nearby! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Athina Rooms for anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Himarë!

I came as a tourist and feelt like a guest, everything was sparkling clean.

La habitación tiene una neverita (que viene bien) pero por las noches hace ruido y hay que desconectarla. La cama es realmente cómoda y se duerme de lujo. Todo limpísimo (nos fuimos sin preguntar qué suavizante usa para las toallas, es un locurón) y hay gel de baño.

La dirección en Booking está mal, porque al parecer hay dos Athina Rooms, pero una señora muy amable nos prestó su teléfono para poder localizar el otro alojamiento. Dejar el coche es un poco trabajoso. Hay que aparcar en cuesta. La cortina de la ducha es demasiado corta y se encharca todo el suelo. El baño huele un poco a humedad :(

Considering the average prices of Himare properties in high season and the time we spent there, our stay was okay and fairly priced. However, we experienced several issues that made it less pleasant. On the positive side, the linens and cleaning were good, and the staff were very friendly.

Our stay was somewhat uncomfortable due to a lack of privacy — our room’s door and window were directly next to the owner’s family living area, and one evening we could clearly hear a loud discussion. The only source of daylight was a small window facing this space, while the other two windows opened onto a dark garage used for laundry and storage. The biggest problem, however, was a blocked grey water drain in the middle of the bathroom floor. Each time we used the sink or shower, dirty, smelly water would rise up. Although the facility manager assured us a plumber would come, the issue remained unresolved, and we spent three nights with the same problem and an unpleasant odor in the room.
