Arcu Retreat

Everything. We loved the location, it was quiet and peaceful and private. The views were unbelievable. The apartment was newly updated, very beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The landscaping was beautiful.

The villa is on top of the mountain, still in Positano, in a small village called Nocelle, which is the last stop on the bus line and has an amazing view over the coast. It is a bit far from the city center, but there is a bus every 30 minutes that takes you there. In total, it takes around 30 minutes to get from Nocelle to the center of Positano. At first, I had second thoughts about the location, but after spending some time in the city center, you quickly realize how crowded Positano can get. What did I like? The amazing view. The photos simply can't capture how beautiful it really is. The villa is very spacious and actually spread across two floors. There is an outdoor jacuzzi with a view over the bay, a large bathroom with a bathtub, and you can watch the sunset every day. The area is quiet and peaceful. Our lovely host also left some complimentary amenities for us, including jam, Nutella, bread, milk, water, and coffee, which was enough for a few breakfasts and really made a difference. My favorite part was having breakfast every morning while looking out over the Positano coastline. Overall, I was happily surprised by the villa. It was even better than I expected.

Can be quiet hard to go back to the villa from city center. The bus takes 30 minutes until there but the road is pretty bumpy on top of the mountain. The taxi overall is expensive in Positano and nearby area... from Positano center until the Nocelle parking cost around 60euro which can be a ripoff but well those are the prices. The bus cost 2.20 euro.

We had such a wonderful stay and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The property was immaculate, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The views are stunning! Giuseppe was incredibly welcoming, thoughtful, and always quick to respond, making the whole experience effortless. It’s clear that so much care and attention has gone into creating such a lovely space. We made some fantastic memories here and would absolutely love to return. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality—we couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

Nothing it was a perfect stay!

Giuseppe, his family, and the entire Arcu Positano team gave us the best stay in Positano and Nocelle. They truly went above and beyond with their hospitality, welcoming us to their hotels and making our stay better than we could have imagined. Giuseppe and his family are truly kind people who look after you. Booking accomodation half way across the world can be nerve racking and uncertain, but Giuseppe and his team communicated perfectly and did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. Arcu Positano gave us the relaxing, peaceful, and authentic Italian experience we were after, along with some of the best views of the water and mountainside. The ammenities are first class, with an amazing jacuzzi overlooking the water, sun beds, washing machine (you don’t realise how much you need one until you’re in Europe), kitchen, fridge, and spacious bedroom & bathroom. Easily a 10/10 review and I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Italy. It is the best accomodation and service we have had on any holiday we have been on.
