I've incorporated that detail into the review: This is a newer hotel with friendly and accommodating staff who go out of their way to ensure guests are satisfied. Any issues or complaints are addressed promptly and professionally. The entrance and exit to the property could use some improvement, as the road access is a bit rough. Room amenities vary, with some rooms offering a refrigerator and/or microwave while others do not. The rooms are spacious, well air-conditioned, and stocked with plenty of linens. Pool towels are also provided for guests' convenience. I stayed from Thursday through Sunday and enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning. The breakfast featured a variety of American and Belizean dishes. For dinner, the restaurant offers a mix of American and Asian cuisine. The bartender made a delicious virgin piña colada that was one of the highlights of my stay. For those who enjoy gaming, there is a casino on-site with slot machines and table games, although it is not very large. One of the best features of the property is the outdoor pool area overlooking the Belize River. There is also an outdoor deck with a bar and plenty of seating where guests can relax, eat, and enjoy the view. The outdoor bar and restaurant close at 9:00 p.m., but guests can continue enjoying food and drinks in the casino afterward. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel for its excellent service, spacious accommodations, good dining options, casino, and beautiful riverfront setting.

I had a mixed experience, but it was mostly good. Pros: lovely, modern hotel that is spotlessly clean. The bed was the comfiest I have ever slept on, TV is huge, enormous bathroom (no issue with water pressure in the shower) and the food at their restaurant was divine (I had the buffet breakfast both mornings and ordered off the menu for both dinners). Caesar and Freddie in the restaurant were amazing in their service and attention and both made me feel very welcome. Cons: I requested their airport shuttle when I checked in, giving them two days' notice. I asked if I could pay for it then but was told not to worry and to pay when I settled my account upon check out. When I checked out this morning, there was no shuttle booked for me and the receptionist said they'd organise one but I'd need to pay the driver cash ($30 USD). Being the end of my holiday, I didn't have enough cash on me so luckily they found a way to charge my card and the taxi arrived shortly after. All very stressful for 7.30am in the morning when you are worried about making your international flight in time! As for my room, it was so heavily perfumed (the whole floor was) I found myself coughing quite a lot and became very thirsty. I was only given two water bottles which I went through very quickly and when I requested more i was told I could purchase more (Not fair as the tap water can't be drunk). In the end, Caesar helped me out with a big jug of water both days. I'm a huge tea drinker and was annoyed to find there was no kettle, mugs, sugar or spoons/ stirrers in my room (there were only two plastic cups and "Splenda" (an artificial sweetner). So I had to go down to the restaurant and request these things. There was also no fridge. The only way of boiling water was to use the coffee pod machine without the coffee Pod and the machine required a lot of water as a minimum which was annoying as I didn't have much water to spare (hence the need for a large jug). Overall, I enjoyed my stay but I felt the staff and room amenities (specifically tea/coffee station) need improvement. I found it odd that just about every staff member had their mobile phone with them and were frequently using them while ignoring their patiently waiting customers (bar staff included). It was very unprofessional.

We stayed here before flying out of Belize and booked the hotel shuttle from the port to the hotel after leaving Caye Caulker. The shuttle was more than 30 minutes late from the agreed pickup time which left us standing and no way to contact the driver. We then booked their airport shuttle from the hotel and it again arrived 20 minutes late which put us under pressure to check in. The tranfers arent cheap and the standard of service was well below what they sell it as. Staff generally were also sat on their phones at reception, even when i approached to book their airport shuttle airport shuttle i had to wait until they were done scrolling… probably a 6/10 hotel.
