The location is great — very close to the ocean. A grocery store is within a 7-minute walk.
The apartment includes two private parking spaces.
The bed in the bedroom is reasonably comfortable.
The apartment was freezing cold at check-in — the floor was ice-cold. It took the entire night to warm the place up using the air conditioner.
The small boiler severely limits the amount of hot water; it is clearly not enough for two adults.
The kitchen is poorly designed and practically unusable. The lack of a dishwasher is bad enough, but having to stand bent over because of the absurd furniture design is extremely irritating.
The sofa in the living room does unfold, but it is completely unsuitable for sleeping. The mattress is very uncomfortable.
Once again, check-in turned into an absurd quest. Instead of clear instructions, you are forced to search for the apartment and the keys yourself. After a long journey, this is completely unacceptable — the last thing anyone wants is to run around multiple floors, desperately looking for doors with tiny lockboxes on them. To make matters worse, there was more than one such door, and we had to try the code on every single one. This was frustrating, exhausting, and a total waste of time.
Additionally, the apartment requires a €250 security deposit through a third-party website, where you are forced to link your bank card. This information is only disclosed after you book the apartment on Booking.com. Despite Booking’s policy prohibiting hosts from charging or reserving additional funds outside the platform, the host still did so. To be fair, the deposit was fully refunded a few hours after check-out. However, being required to link a bank card to an external service is highly unsafe and unacceptable, in my opinion.
