Ampelonas Antiparos

Nota was an incredible host, and the property is beautifully secluded yet convenient to get all over the island with a car. The room was beautifully decorated and clean, the rooms are large and luxurious. The pool area is fantastic and the vibe very relaxed. No hassle and very easy arrival and exit. The perfect place for independent travellers.

No food or tea/coffee at the property which we did know in advance but would elevate the experience to faultless. No iron or space to hang clothes in the room but ironing service available.

Ampelonas is unique. A beautiful and peaceful place designed with a lot of taste by a very inspiring woman Nota, who is the personification of Xenia, the Greek hospitality!

Ampelonas is one of those rare places that feels like a secret. It sits slightly back from everything, in a beautifully quiet area, and yet you're only 10 minutes by scooter from any corner of the island. The best of both worlds. The pool is the heart of the property: deeply relaxing, with a view over the sunset that we looked forward to every single evening. The rooms are beautifully pared-back : spacious, warm and full of style. Built in stone that blends naturally into the landscape, they make it effortless to unwind in harmony with the surroundings. And all around the property, outside each building, there are sofas and lounging corners everywhere, so you can always find your own quiet spot. But what makes Ampelonas truly special is Nota. She and her daughter welcomed us with genuine warmth on arrival, full of good advice and a kind, caring energy towards every guest. She knows exactly where to send you depending on your mood and your tastes, and she also has a lovely shop in the centre of the island that's well worth a visit. Honestly, I have nothing but positive things to say. We had an exceptional stay and we already want to come back.
