De cottage is onderdeel van de boerderij en aan beide kanten zit nog een cottage. Het is stijlvol gerestaureerd door eigenaars Simon en Tracy. Ook van binnen is het stijlvol ingericht. Het was ontzettend leuk om ‘s ochtends met onze kinderen te helpen bij het voeren van de dieren en te kletsen met Simon en Tracy, die erg geïnteresseerd zijn. Het heerlijke - zelfgemaakte - taartje dat voor ons klaarstond toen we aankwamen was een heerlijke verrassing! We waren graag nog een paar dagen langer gebleven!
Eigenlijk was alles helemaal naar wens. Alleen twee tips: de scharnieren van de eerste badkamer kunnen wel wat olie gebruiken en op die badkamer zou ook het zeeppompje vervangen moeten worden.

A beautiful location and the Stable Cottage was very nicelly decorated. We used the double bedroom and the bed was comfortable. The family bathroom is a bit on the small side but fine for a few days stay. The tween bedroom and bathroom were larger and also comfortable.The owners were very helpful and friendly. We would stay there again.

We stayed in one of the three little cottages on the farm. It is right in Exmoor, some few miles from Exford. We had access to a little outside area with a picnic bench and two camping chairs from which you had a wonderful view over the village.
The accommodation is dog friendly, so you can bring your dog. There are also towels provided to get the dirt off them after a rainy walk. But they are not allowed on furniture or the beds. Not a big problem as we brought our dogs bed, but meant we had to supervise him when in the living room.
Just a note to say that the pathways down to the valley are very steep, so if your dog is horrible on the lead (like mine), be warned!
