Breakfast was great and it was a nice experience of the Icehotel. I visited in the summer, and it was real good.

The room was exactly as advertised online — no surprises, just honest representation. All the essentials were in place and the space was kept fairly clean. The owner, though we didn't meet her in person, was friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful whenever we reached out.
A proper welcome on arrival would have made a big difference. We were handed a key and pointed to our room, but had no one to walk us through the property or explain how to access the garden and pool. When we tried to use those facilities, we had to call for help and still couldn't quite manage it — so we missed out on amenities we were looking forward to. A short orientation from a staff member would go a long way. It would also be a great touch to have access to streaming apps or Wi-Fi in the room, since many guests travel specifically to unwind and rest.
