Our first trip from India to Sri Lanka became truly unforgettable because of our stay at The South Beach Resort, Ahangama. If you're traveling with family, I can confidently say this is one of the best places to stay. The resort offers the most breathtaking ocean view from the room—without a doubt the best view in the entire town. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunset from the balcony was an experience we'll always cherish. The food was exceptional throughout our stay. Every meal was fresh, delicious, and easily among the best we had in Ahangama. What made our stay truly special was the outstanding hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Jude (Manager) for ensuring everything was perfect and for making us feel so welcome. Special appreciation also goes to Amalsha and Malsha, whose warmth, kindness, and attentive service made us feel right at home. The South Beach Resort is more than just a hotel—it's an experience. We arrived as first-time visitors to Sri Lanka and left with wonderful memories. Having stayed at the resort for three nights, we were also pleasantly surprised when a special dinner was arranged for our family. Upon entry the hotel staff greeted us really well. The rooms were amazing and upto quality standards including really nice hot showers. They even upgraded our room for no extra fee! The hospitality at this venue was extraordinary, they went above and beyond to make sure that my wife and I were comfortable and catered to our needs. I would definitely recommend this place as it is beyond worth it for its price and the experience that we've gained was truly fantastic!

Our stay at South Beach Resort, Ahangama was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is simply perfect—situated right on the beach, offering breathtaking ocean views and a truly relaxing atmosphere. What made our experience even more memorable was the outstanding hospitality provided by the manager, Mr. Jude. He is one of the kindest and most genuine people we have ever met. He went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. A special highlight was when he learned that my younger brother was celebrating his birthday during our stay. Mr. Jude personally arranged a wonderful birthday celebration for him, making the occasion incredibly special. What touched us the most was that he refused to charge us for the arrangements, even after we repeatedly offered to pay. Such kindness, generosity, and attention to detail are rare to find. Thanks to Mr. Jude and the entire team, we created memories that will last a lifetime. I would highly recommend South Beach Resort to anyone visiting Ahangama and will definitely be returning in the future.
