Casa Bella Vista

An absolutely stunning villa with a fantastic sea view. Everything was so exceptionally clean that it felt as if the house was brand new and no one had stayed there before us. The property is very thoughtfully equipped. There were two coffee machines (a capsule machine with capsules provided and a filter coffee machine), enough dishwasher tablets for our entire stay, and laundry capsules for the washing machine. Fresh fruit was waiting for us on the table, and there were drinks in the refrigerator upon arrival. The villa offers three toilets and two showers, which was very convenient for our family. The beds were comfortable with excellent mattresses, and all windows had mosquito screens. One of our favorite features was the huge terrace with comfortable outdoor furniture and breathtaking views of the sea. The host was always available, responsive, and genuinely willing to help with anything we needed. There is a lovely, uncrowded beach nearby, and the beautiful town of Labin is just a short drive away. It has everything you might need: supermarkets, shops, restaurants, and a charming historic old town.

The check-out time was quite early. Although the beach is nearby, it is a bit too far to comfortably walk, especially in the summer heat. By car, however, it is only a few minutes away. A car is definitely necessary, as both the beaches and shops are most conveniently reached by car. A few additional items would make the stay even more comfortable: a large salad bowl, a kettle or tea infuser for loose-leaf tea, and a basket for carrying clean laundry out to the terrace for drying. There is one neighboring house nearby, and occasionally it could be a little noisy at night. Of course, this can be solved by closing the windows, and every room has air conditioning, but we personally preferred sleeping with fresh air. And finally, for complete perfection, the only thing missing was a small outdoor jacuzzi on the terrace where one could relax and enjoy the sea view - but that is hardly a real complaint, just a wish!
