The smell from the shower, we had to always open the windows and the door so it’s dry fast but not a problem

The host was very helpful and kind, with lots of thoughtful touches and suggestions of what to visit while in Seoul. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed during our stay (toiletries, utensils, cooking oil etc.). The beds were comfortable and the apartment was clean. Great value for money. Its about a 10-12 minute walk to the nearest train station and it was pretty convenient place to stay to explore Seoul. We also really enjoyed the old Seoul City walls you can walk along right by the apartment! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The apartment is at the top of a pretty steep hill and has no elevator - so be prepared if you have heavy suitcases like we did! At the end of some of our big days of walking the hill could be a bit of a tough end to the day.

Location: We had a wonderful stay at Moon’s Eye and would happily recommend it to everyone looking for the perfect place to stay in Seoul! We were a bit worried as there weren't that many reviews at the time of booking but we took a chance and we couldn't be happier that we did. The location is very convenient, with easy access to public transport - it took about 10 minutes to go to the nearest subway station by foot, and multiple convenience stores nearby. It is on a hill, so getting up can be a little challenging at first (especially with luggage) but we got used to it very quickly and it wasn’t an issue during our stay. Host: The host was one of the highlights of our stay - incredibly welcoming, friendly, responsive and really made us feel at home in another country. Communication was extremely easy as they speak fluent English and they were always happy to help with anything we needed. Property: The accommodation itself was very comfortable and well equipped, especially for a longer stay. The only small thing to note is that while it’s perfect for two people, it may feel a bit small for larger groups. Underfloor heating was great, especially during the Korean winter, and there were plenty of amenities such as a vacuum, kitchenette and multiple beds. The neighbourhood was quiet, which made it very relaxing after busy days exploring Seoul. Overall, it offered excellent value for money given the location and comfort.
