The Lodge is such a gorgeous getaway, hosted by the lovely Martina. We loved how welcoming and accommodating Martina was, having the best breakfast ready each morning and readily asking us if we required anything further for the stay. We enjoyed how quiet it was and the pool was such a great bonus for the hot day

Martina and Gus were just delightful. So friendly.
Only one chair in our room. We realise space is limited but two chairs would be better for 2 people.

Very warm hosts - very nice, welcoming feeling to the Lodge.
Perhaps an additional option for breakfast.

My hubby and I stayed 2 nights for our anniversay. The Lodge is lovely and the managers are doing a great job with greeting and servicing their customers. It was very hot during our stay but the rooms were adequately airconditioned and the common area was pleasent and felt very homely. The beds were very comfortable!
I would recommend having a fridge in the common area or a small bar fridge in each of the rooms so as guests do not have to access a fridge in the laundry. I would also recommend the signage on the road/entrance to the Lodge, being more prominent as it's easily missed and perhaps a map link in the confirmation text message.

Martina and Gus are wonderful hosts. They were attentive and very outgoing. The Lodge is a beautiful setting and so close to everything in the Barossa. The breakfasts were delicious and served in a lovely meal/living space.

It’s in a great location. The breakfast was amazing. As we were with friends we loved being able to kick back in front of the fire and comfie couches just like home.
Would have been better to get check in details a little earlier.

Location, seclusion, view, lounge area and fire, comfortable beds. Great for a group.
Limited normal tea bags. Only one set of cups and no tea towels or detergent to rewash. Unconventional breakfast arrangements with no choice apart from a very tasty panini that were prepared by the hosts the evening before and left in the fridge for us to toast. Novel! Would have preferred other options such as fruit, toast or cereal. No juice offered. The limited breakfast was fully self service. The hosts were not present to help.

Hosts Martina & Gus were so lovely and accommodating. They made a delicious breakfast for us every morning and Martina even licked my couple and I up from the nearby town when our uber cancelled on us! The bed was so comfortable and the area is so peaceful.

I am so so so glad we chose this place to stay during our trip to the Barossa. Honestly, it was an amazing experience and I most definitely recommend to secure this spot for your next stay at the Barossa!! It’s hosted by the kindest Argentinian couple who made the place feel homey and very comfortable. We had the fire on in the evening while we shared a glass of red, which are the little touches that make this place stand out. The grounds are just stunning and would be even better during summer! A homemade breakfast is included and hit the spot every morning. It is a very central location to drive to a large portion of wineries in the Barossa, you can even walk to Seppeltsfield as it is apart of the grounds. Over all I would stay here again in a heart beat, looking forward to visiting again! Thank you both for having us!
