House Anita

The house in old part of Murter was really positive surprise for us. Stone walls keep house naturally cool even in summer, so we used air conditioning less than we expected. Space was more than enough – we were eight people total, five adults and three small kids, and everyone had own space without problems. The layout is bit unusual, but in good way – floors are going up and each one has something different. On ground floor kitchen with dining area and very big storage room. On first floor living room and bathroom with sauna, on second floor big terrace with barbecue, extra kitchen with full equipment and three bedrooms. If you expect normal layout you will need a minute to figure out – but then it all makes sense. Just above house is small hill with church on top – we walked up almost every day. We recommend.

The only downside is the distance from the beach, bakery and shops – you need a car for everything. Which is fine as long as you know in advance. Parking in front of the house is limited – two spots are guaranteed, the third requires some patience and experience. We mostly drove with a minivan since we were eight people, and after few days the driver already knew how and where. Streets in the old part are narrow, but you get used to it. Beach parking is paid, which is expected. With experience you figure out where it's smarter to park – at Čigrađa beach the last parking lot before the restaurant is cheaper than the ones higher up, and if you arrive early enough you get a spot almost right next to the beach.

Amazing place, beautiful location and helpful hosts. Well worth every penny, thank you Bea and Beti (ps Beti, sorry for being loud mouths on the first night!)

Didn't have checkout instructions so weren't 100% sure what needed to be done when leaving. Worth noting for the next visitors.
