OLBIA-Nuovissimo monolocale centrale e tranquillo

Großzügig geschnittene und sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Einen Parkplatz direkt vor der Wohnung zu finden war (saisonbedingt?) kein Problem. Da wir aufgrund Mietwagen mobil waren, eignete sich die Lage gut für Einkäufe (Supermarkt in der Nähe) und Tagesausflüge entlang der Costa Smeralda (Golfo Aranci, Palau). Wir kommen wieder!

Mariella et Daniele sont des hôtes vraiment adorables et très attentionnés. L’accueil a été chaleureux dès notre arrivée, nous avons tout de suite été mis à l’aise malgré la barrière de la langue. Ils nous avaient également conseillé plusieurs activités et endroits à découvrir avant même notre séjour, ce qui était très appréciable. Petit point important : pensez à prévoir des espèces pour la taxe de séjour, car il peut être compliqué de retirer de l’argent sur place à Olbia. De notre côté, nous avons eu des difficultés et Mariella et Daniele ont été d’une grande gentillesse en essayant de nous aider à trouver une solution et en nous accompagnant dans nos démarches. Le logement était extrêmement propre, aussi bien à l’intérieur que dans les parties communes extérieures. Tout le nécessaire était disponible : vaisselle, équipements, couvertures, climatisation, etc. Le logement est également bien situé, proche du centre-ville et desservi par plusieurs lignes de bus avec des arrêts à proximité.

Le principal point négatif concerne la luminosité du logement. Celui-ci se situe en partie en sous-sol, avec seulement deux petites fenêtres en hauteur qui apportent très peu de lumière naturelle et qui ne pouvaient pas être ouvertes durant notre séjour. Nous étions donc obligées de laisser la porte ouverte ou d’utiliser constamment la lumière artificielle, ce qui peut être un peu pesant sur plusieurs jours. Autre point à noter : l’annonce peut prêter à confusion concernant la chambre. Il ne s’agit pas d’une chambre séparée mais d’un canapé-lit dans la pièce principale. La seule pièce réellement séparée est la salle de bain. Enfin, le couchage reste correct pour quelques nuits, mais le canapé-lit, les matelas et les oreillers ne sont pas très confortables pour un séjour plus long. Heureusement, des couvertures supplémentaires étaient mises à disposition, ce qui a rendu l’ensemble plus agréable.

I really liked my stay. The apartment is perfectly basic and simple with all the simple kitchen tools you could ask for, which was ideal for what I needed. It has all the advertised facilities; it's clean and comfortable. The induction stovetop worked brilliantly — I was able to cook chicken thighs, as it has the necessary kitchen equipment to handle that properly despite the oven issue, using the correct kitchen tools available. Wi-Fi speed is approx 30 Mbps and connected all over, and there's an LG OLED TV.

1. The host didn't bother to tell me in advance that the oven was broken, which I had planned to use for half of my stay, which is odd because that's something a guest would need to know, and had no intention of fixing it during my stay. 2. The bed is, of course, a sofa bed; however, it does have a slight lump in the middle, but turning 45 degrees works brilliantly and is perfectly comfy for solo travellers. The host needs to inform future guests about problems. My advice: before booking, ask the host directly if all advertised amenities are working. I know that sounds overly cautious, but after this experience, it's reasonable.

Location was nice if you travel by car. A short trip to the center in a very calm area. You have a supermarket and some restaurants 5 min by foot. There is space for 2 people. The communication with the hosts was good after an initial incident.

If you have +175cm, consider that you will have a hard time when using the kitchen/bathroom, because the ceilling is very low. Something else that did not went well was the fact that the host asked us for a 50€ fee before arriving in the apartment due to an "extra clean and some linen sheets". We replied stating this was illegal and they said it was an automatic message... The apartment doesn't have many basics for cooking like salt, olive oil and spices, so consider that in advance. Also, the oven is broken although we didn't find it in the description. If you like light in the room, you'll not love it since it's in the basement and there's only two small windows at the top. My girlfriend did not enjoy the sofa-bed although I didn't have any problem with it.
