Pioneer Trail Retreat by Avada Properties

The property is actually 3 different cabins in very close proximity. The main cabin had 4 BR and 4 baths, large dining and living room, and nice kitchen. The smallest cabin had 1 BR (king and bunks) and bath w/o a kitchen. The medium size cabin had 2 Q BR with a shared bath, a kitchen, and a day bed in the LR. There was also a game room not connected to any other building. It had a nice ping pong table (bring your own equipment!) and a non-working arcade shooting game, and no batteries for the electronic bb game. It also had theater seating for showing videos. (I didn't use it so I don't have details.) The kitchen had plenty of silverware and dishes for our gang of 17. The dining area had 2 long huge tables with benches, which were perfect for children and adults. There was a handy washer and dryer in the kitchen and TVs in every BR. Two gas log fireplaces made the large cabin cozy but the thermostat was fooled by their heat. We turned them off at night so that the central heat would kick on. The hot tub was in working condition and we took advantage of it one evening. The largest BR in the main house had adorable twin beds that our 4 yr and 6 yr granddaughters loved. They resembled mini cabins next to their parents king bed. Their bath had no tub so they used one in another bathroom. I would like to see the grounds in the summer since the pool was closed while we were there. The location of the property was approximately 7 minutes to the main drag near the Dixie Stampede. Check your GPS to make sure you come out at the traffic light to avoid traffic hassles.

There were ZERO hand towels in the bathrooms, ZERO dish cloths, and one dish towel in the main kitchen. Bring your own paper towels and bath towels if you need more than one pp. Also, small batteries for the basketball shooting game and ping pong equip. We prefer liquid hand soap and none was provided so we bought it ourselves. There are NO deliveries available for Walmart or food stores---that we could find. Perhaps it was the date/time of our arrival, but the stores were about 15-20 mins away. No big deal. It would have been beneficial to have a floor plan in advance for room assignments.
