Allianca Marina - Luxury apartment by HD

The apartment had the most amazing views and perfect location, We were met at the property earlier than we expected which was a great start to our holiday. Dorathee handed over the keys and walked us around the apartement and talked us through everything. She noticed the jacuzzi hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests and sorted it out staright away. In terms of views and locations this was perfrct for our family that includes 2 teenagers.... close enough for a lively nightlife but perfect for relaxing there as there was no noise at all from the marina which was amazing as we were located right on it. The wrap around balcony and apartement size was perfrct. If a few little issues were rectified we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and would most certainly recommend it to our family and friends.

Unfortuantley we had a few issues with the property some of which are also noted in other guests feedback, we had hoped they had been rectified before our stay. The first problem we noticed was the door in the master bedroom going out onto the balcony didn't lock at all, also the toilet door in the en-suit didtn't work very well resulting in one of our family members being locked in the bathroom but luckily they were able to get out through the door onto the balconcy which is in the shower. The first night we had little sleep due to the constant noise of the toilet filling this impacted 2 of the bedrooms. Then the flush on the that particular toilet wasn't working. We reported this straight away to HD properties and they replied very quickly to say that a maintence person will come out to look at it, sadly this didn't happen. On the second day we noticed a few ants in the wardrobes, this didn't really affect us but then the kitchen area on several occasions was covered in ants even though we were very aware not to leave any food or drinks on the worksurfaces. This did actually get worse as the week went on sadly. If however these issues were dealt wtith we would definatley return. I've actually found this review hard to write because we did have an amazing time.

Fantastic location and very well equipped. It was great to have the private terrace with sauna and jacuzzi. View from lounge area and terrace was stunning. Communal pool area was also excellent.

The plumbing wasn’t the best and we disliked the inability to flush toilet paper. Some basic instructions for appliances such as microwave and hob would have been good. Similar for switching between sauna and jacuzzi which was via fuse box.

The location was superb and the views over the marina were beautiful. We loved how spacious it was and the balcony and hot tub.

The en suite toilet made a noise constantly but it didn’t bother me that much.

Beautiful apartment, excellent views in prime location. Great communication with the host prior to arrival.However, check-in was very rushed, and only 1 person from our group of 5 was permitted to go to the apartment for key collection, etc. We noticed after check-in that the toilet in one of the bathrooms had an out of order sign on it.This had not been communicated to me. Sharing 1 toilet for 5 people is not good enough. I called the company, and they said they would send maintenance. That didn't happen. I called the next day and was told they were waiting on parts.No body came to fix the toilet or called me back after I spoke to them on day 2. I have just checked reviews of this apartment on Airbnb, and the party of 5 people who stayed a week ago also had the same broken toilet for their stay.. It was very disappointing not to have had the issue resolved for our stay as you had ample time to do so. We had to use the toilet at the pool 2 floors down. Not ideal for ladies in their 60s Some other issues to note: the door to the terrace won't lock, found ants in the twin room , the small double, and the living room , which were there for most of our stay. The shower door in the bathroom doesn't close properly, so the bathroom floor is soaked every time.The air con in the small double won't turn down either. it's blowing warm air
