The apartment was specious enough for 2 adults and 2 children. It was especially nice that one of the rooms has two separate single beds, which was suitable for children. The apartment is overall nicely furnished and it is pleasant to be inside. It seemed well cleaned. When we visited it was a bit colder and we used the AC in the rooms, plus there are small heaters in the bathroom and the kitchen. The heater in the bathroom was a nice touch because it helped make it more comfortable during these colder days. Cooking meals was also possible thanks for the oven and stoves and some basic utensils in the kitchen. The apartment we stayed in was on the ground floor and also had a terrace with a table, chairs and a swing where the entrance was. This was a nice place because it faces some vineyards and offers a nice view of the sunset. Parking was easy with three parking spots outside, next to the building. Overall, it was very quiet and peaceful while we stayed there. The location is great for exploring the area with a car, in my opinion - several of the interesting villages are very close by and Colmar has multiple convenient parking spots within a 15 minutes drive, some of which are paid, but not very expensive. At the same time there are a few big supermarkets around. Not sure how it would be if traveling by public transport or taxi, because we did not try that. The host was very nice, we communicated on chat only. Picking up and leaving the keys was easy. They also shared some tips for places to visit in the area.

While we were there the weather was on the colder side. The apartment we stayed in is on the ground floor, so it needs some more heating I imagine. So, we needed to heat up the space using the air-conditioning when we arrived. But it happens relatively quickly with AC, so if you're ok with this sort of heating, that should be fine.
