Casa De Emdeko Condo with Pool AC & Ocean Views

Great position, excellent condo with pool and bbq, also quiet. Host provided quick response during check in.

Made my reservation through booking but erroneously booked the check out one day later; could not fix it through booking so I asked the host if he could manage this for me. Although the host did not do anything wrong, I was expecting a little bit of help and have the reservation fixed. The host was quite passive and did not provide feedback so I paid one more day.

We've stayed at this property before, though in a different condo. We like the location and the pools and landscaping. Though we did not make use of them this time, there are bbqs and a large shared patio to eat outside near the pools. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, though we mostly ate at restaurants or had takeout on the lanai. The bathroom was nice and large, and we had lots of towels for showers, beach, and pool. Parking was easy and usually available inside the gate; if not, there were spaces outside that are not far. We had a car, but it's not too far to walk to the Ali'i drive shops and restaurants - the location is great for Kailua-Kona. Liked the nature photos in the main living area. Bed was comfortable. We had 3 in our group - my sister stayed on the pull-out sofa bed and said it was alright. Love the ocean view from the lanai. Sunsets from outside are incredible.

The ocean pool was closed for most of our stay due to high surf - not really avoidable if Poseidon is doing his thing, so we wouldn't fault the property for this! The door code did not work until 4pm on the dot, so we were outside waiting for 12 minutes, bahaha. Not crazy about the boarding pass process as it didn't load for me at first, but we figured it out and got in. None of these are deal-breakers at all, just mentioning them since the form asks.

Excellent location close to the pier and shops. Very clean and quiet with all the amenities you need for the most relaxing vacation. The staff were very responsive to our needs and were excellent communicators.

Property is beautiful, liked it very much. Nothing to say but positive comments.
