Long Island Retreat - Pelican Relax By The River!

The location was perfect. It was quiet and private. The property was close to many attractions and had a great view of the river. Parking was great. The kitchen was well equipped, it was clean, comfortable and spacious. There were only 3 of us that stayed there but it would be perfect for up to 6 guests.

Clean, well appointed with great range of domestic items.

It was extremely hot. The bedrooms were unbearable. Only after we had the air conditioning on all night, did they start to cool down. Second air conditioning unit was needed. Extra towels would also have been helpful.

Sadly so many things wrong with this property, but most fixable and would make our grading higher It was $400 a night which is why we have questioned the following 1. Garden horribly overgrown and so disappointing- see photos 2. Shower in bathroom dangerous as drain cover broken and very sharp - cut foot 3. Oven has no information as to how to use and no numbers on oven to show temperature etc 4. No signage on house 5. 1 PowerPoint in kitchen so constantly having to unplug appliances 6. Shower in ensuite broken toilet seat and shower tap come away from the wall 7. Fridge doesn’t close properly, you need to shut it and hold it so it seals 8.Construction is going on behind the house? Probably should let people know that due to noise factor
