Nestled on 6 acres of private land, hidden on a dead end street, this charming rustic two hundred and ten year old cabin is the perfect place for you and your family to slowdown and travel back in time for your next getaway.Conveniently located 20 minutes to Louisville, New Albany, and Jeffersonville. Exciting bourbon trails, dining experiences and wonderful events await in the city, Meanwhile having a relaxing place to unwind and connect with nature on site or at Charlestown State Park 6 miles.
The space
Escape the hustle and bustle of city life and retreat to this charming rustic cabin nestled in the quiet countryside on 6 acres of private land. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, this cozy hideaway offers the perfect opportunity to unwind and recharge. Imagine waking up to the sound of birds chirping and the gentle rustling of leaves in the breeze. Perfect for crocheting or working on your laptop. Step outside and breathe in the fresh, crisp air as you explore the picturesque landscape that surrounds you. Simply sit back and relax on the front or back porch with a good book and a steaming cup of coffee (Complementary coffee and tea). Giving you the opportunity to reconnect with friends and loved ones.
Inside, the cabin exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with its wooden beams, comfortable furnishings, and beautiful outdoor space. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway, a peaceful weekend with family and friends, or even a writers/crafters/wellness retreats this rustic cabin provides the perfect setting for creating lasting memories.

Guest access
The entire house will be accessible, but the other buildings on the property are not available for use. Please do not try and access the other buildings as they may be rented for events and other stays.
Other things to note
Parking and driving ONLY allowed on the designated gravel parking spaces.
Clean up all food and secure trash in cans outside or you may be visited by unwanted guests.
House will be stocked with a starter pack of home essentials including Coffee, Half&Half, Dish pods, Laundry detergent, Hand Soap, Toilet Paper, and Paper Towels.
Events and/or parties must be pre-approved prior to booking.
We have a vintage claw foot tub, while it has a shower they are traditionally not made for standing and become very slippery when wet, try to be mindful about water splashing out.
For the safety of guest and our home we ask no open flames like fires and candles in the cabin.

This was an amazing place to stay. The cabin was close to everything yet still felt very private. We enjoyed nights around the fire pit and morning coffee outside while watching the squirrels play. There were plenty of towels, soaps and toilet paper for the 9 of us, even a basket of snacks. I would love to come stay again in this beautiful cabin.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully renovated cabin. It is perfect for a family retreat and is very well maintained. It is very peaceful and surrounded by beautiful scenery. We are planning on staying here again in the future if we visit Louisville.

This house was super cute! Had plenty of beds! Nice kitchen! There were plenty of dishes and cookware. The host offered many things that a lot of places do not such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, coffee, tea, sugar, etc. Plenty of linens. We did not use the washer and dryer but it was available. The outdoor patio had nice seating with a firepit and grill offered. The wifi did not work great for us but it worked out. The cabin had some games and snacks available also.
