We loved the quiet and peaceful tranquility of the cottage. It is charming and we enjoyed listening to the bubbling creek behind the cottage. The cottage was small, clean and well decorated. This is a nice place to stay if you don't want to cook and are mainly on the go and want a great place to sleep. We were short on wash clothes and towels, as there was only one plus a make-up washcloth. For a two night stay we would have liked a couple more, but we made do. There wasn't a hair dryer, or iron, so pack your own. There aren't many amenities. Overall, we loved Millie's Mermaid Cottage, the quaintness and quiet setting was a nice reprieve. It was a 25-30 minute drive to Branson, but we noted that prior to booking it. If you want a clean, quiet place off of the beaten path this is it!
