About this cabin rental
*** Please note, if you are traveling to the area to explore Rocky Mountain National Park, especially during the busy summer season, we advise making a reservation to enter the park prior to travel, one month in advance of your stay, to ensure there is availability on the days of your travel.
Also, there is a separate residence also on this property; however, it is on the other side of the creek, with views blocked by trees to ensure your privacy while on vacation. Both cabins share the spacious driveway.
Additional things to note before booking and arrival:
1. Before driving into the mountains, we suggest entering the address in your GPS so you arrive at the destination with ease, as cellular connection in the mountains will be spotty.
2. 4WD/AWD strongly encouraged when staying in winter and spring. Guests can easily get stuck at end of driveway without 4WD/AWD if there’s snow. 4WD/AWD vehicles shouldn’t have an issue.
3. Bathroom facilities are eco-friendly. If the toilet seems low-pressure compared to what you're used to, it's because it's a water-conserving toilet. Welcome to the mountains!
4. Enhanced water filtration system, supporting an uninterrupted flow of fresh mountain water to our cozy cabin!
Outdoors: We've encountered wildlife on our mountain property big and small! Keep aware of larger creatures. Depending on the time of year, you may sight mountain lion, coyote, bear, moose, elk, deer, rabbit, chipmunk, mouse, birds, and small fish in the stream. Located 15 minutes from Estes Park Downtown, the cabin is nestled in the archway to the Rocky Mountains.
During your stay, enjoy a view of Mount Meeker and partial view of Longs Peak, as well as the relaxing sound of a creek.
You will be minutes away from trailheads to waterfalls, bike trails around Lake Estes, and casual shopping and dining in Estes Park.
Conveniently, the cabin is located off of Hwy 7, there will be traffic noise, but sitting stream side or in the hot tub does mute the noise. Also, this for easy access from the Denver-Boulder area.
4WD/AWD recommended in winter/spring.
