Your first step into this charmingly decorated home invites you to leave your worries behind and settle in with a great book and a glass of wine. The large patio is the perfect place to revel in the glorious sunsets while listen to the crashing waves, people watch, or stay inside and watch a storm from the comfort of a cozy chair.
The oversized picture windows provide wonderful light in this ground floor condo which is located right off the beach trail, allowing for easy access to the ocean and surrounding State Park which guests love. The park sits adjacent to the historic Grays Harbor Lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse in Washington. When you are ready to explore, there are eighteen miles of sandy beach right outside your front door. Or you can birdwatch, hike or bike the beautiful State Park trails. One of the paved trails takes you right into the wonderful town of Westport, where you can buy fresh salmon or crab right off the fishing boats. The well-equipped kitchen overlooks the living and dining areas and is perfectly suited for multiple chefs.
In addition to all the comforts of home, your stay with us includes total access to all the amenities our property has to offer. This includes a large hot tub, heated seasonal swimming pool, barbeque grills, and well equipped exercise center at the clubhouse. There is also a grassy play-field perfect for the kids, a basketball court, putting green, horseshoe pits, and playground for the little ones. Soak up the sunshine and relax on one of the many park benches and watch the activities. No worries, its time to have fun and replenish at the beach!

Overall, we had a great stay. This unit has a great location on the ground floor right near the access path to the beach. I worried that I would feel awkward with people walking by all the time, but I found I didn't mind at all. The same way I am not interested in looking in the windows of places I walk by, I realized others aren't either. This made our location perfect. Right next to the beach, partial ocean view, with the sea grasses in front, the views out the windows are lovely. It was very clean, and had everything we needed. My one complaint is that although there is a No Fireworks policy clearly stated, and with signs posted, people still lit off fireworks on the beach in restricted areas. This tells me the management is not good at enforcing their policy. We came specifically to be away from any fireworks, and that did not happen. This one thing brought my rating from 5 stars to 4

Over the past 20+ years, we have stayed in a few different condos at Vacations by the Sea. As usual, this condo was very clean. This particular unit was great for teenagers, the bunk bed and desk were perfect. We had visiting grandkids from Texas, they were excited to be right on the beach.
