About this house rental

Northern Lights Lodge is a 15,000 square foot, luxury, custom-built ski-in/out lodge on the slopes of Whitefish Mountain Resort. Featuring 4 floors of unique architectural features, woodwork & vaulted ceilings throughout, completed by an elevator making it easy to get around the expansive lodge. Indulge in extravagant amenities including a plush red velvet movie theater, a high-end sauna, and a spacious in-ground hot tub—your ultimate mountain escape awaits.

With chairlift 3 just beyond the lodge's front door, winter guests at the Northern Lights will enjoy access to over 3000 exhilarating acres of resort skiing and snowboarding. Summertime guests can challenge themselves at the resort's ropes course or enjoy sailing above the pines on the zip-line, before heading out to explore Glacier National Park, which is just 45 minutes away.

Given its rustic grandiosity and slope-side alpine locale, it's no wonder Forbes Magazine took notice of the Northern Lights Lodge in 2012, swooned by its chestnut floors, vaulted ceilings, and unique architectural features, like the custom kitchen cabinetry constructed with reclaimed barn wood. A central elevator makes for easy movement about the lodge's abundant living and dining spaces, where memories of a magic Montana vacation are sure to be made. The lodge's gourmet kitchen is equipped with commercial-grade appliances, granite countertops, and a horseshoe-shaped breakfast bar. And its 3 additional kitchenettes and outdoor grilling area, which features a stone-carved dining lounge, enhance the mountainside merriment of meals made to be enjoyed together.

Guests seeking peace can indulge in the lodge's many amenities, including a red velvet movie theater, luxury sauna, and in-ground hot tub, all of which conspire to create relaxing moments before embarking on tomorrow's next big adventure. Nights at the Northern Lights Lodge, where up to 30 guests can sleep in mountaintop serenity, mean cozying up, while just beyond the panoramic windows, a "Big Sky" sunset casts its alpine glow on Montana's pristine wilderness.
