Our vacation home takes its name from the "Fontana" neighborhood—known as "Funtana" in the Sicilian dialect—the authentic neighborhood where it is located. Every room has been carefully designed down to the smallest detail to offer you a unique experience: the decor blends elegance and tradition, featuring natural materials and hues that echo the colors of the surrounding landscape. Our personalized services make your stay even more special: a selection of local specialties, tailored recommendations for itineraries and experiences, and—upon request—tastings and guided tours of the surrounding area. The property is family-run, passionately managed by Francesco and his daughter Nicole, who are always ready to welcome you with warmth and hospitality to make you feel truly at home. The A Funtana Vacation Home is located in Monforte San Giorgio, a charming village in northeastern Sicily, nestled in tranquility and rich in local traditions. Its strategic location allows you to enjoy a relaxing stay, yet one full of excursions and discoveries. We’re about 15 km from the Milazzo and Rometta highway exits, making travel quick and convenient in any direction. The port of Milazzo is just a 20-minute drive away; it’s the departure point for the stunning Aeolian Islands, perfect for a day trip amid crystal-clear waters and breathtaking scenery. For those who love the beach, the beaches of Venetico, Torregrotta, and Monforte Marina are just 10 km away, while the Ponente Beach in Milazzo is about 20 km away, where you can take advantage of the beach clubs affiliated with our property. In addition, the house is located near important places of worship, ideal for spiritual journeys: the Sanctuary of St. Francis of Paola in Milazzo, with its Holy Door; the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Santa Lucia del Mela, with its Holy Door; and the Shrine of Our Lady of Tindari.
