Arjuna Homestay - Batu Gajah

1. Location - very closed to the town centre. 2. It has air conditioners in ALL the four bedrooms. We have stayed in similar homestay in this housing area before but those houses only have 2 air conditioners at best. This is really a big Plus point for this property. Also, they have queen sized bed in all the bedrooms. Interior Decor is kept simple but overall effect is still nice and homely. 3. The house is very clean and smell nice. 4. The owner is kind enough to provide us with Drinking water and instant noodles. The kitchen is well equipped.

1. The bedroom which faces the street has transparent curtains. When we turn on the lights at night, what we do in the room can be clearly seen from outside the house. Owner should install blackout curtains to preserve guests’ privacy and also for safety reasons. 2. We find it difficult to lock the grille at the front door as the door is not properly aligned. We would suggest that owner use a padlock instead as it’s much easier. 3. It’s time to replace the old sofa in the sitting room as the seat starts to sag after awhile. 4. It would be nice if there’s an air conditioner in the living room. I believe tenants don’t mind paying extra rent for the facility. The existing ceiling fans are not sufficient to cool the living room especially during the current heat wave. We had to open the doors of all the bedrooms to let the cool air out into the living room.
