A news agency, local fish'n'chip shop. Historical museum close by at the old railway station, lookout with great view of the mine, and a short drive out to the dam

Friendly helpful host. Was a bit worried about dogs on premises but this was unfounded as they kept their distance from our aged mobility impaired corgi.
