About this cottage rental
Escape to this beautiful cottage in picturesque Lincoln. This cozy retreat provides a tranquil atmosphere ideal for guests seeking to unwind, recharge, swim, canoe, or fish. With so many who experience a host of allergies, we do not accommodate pets or indoor smoking. With one bedroom featuring a queen-sized bed, this spacious suite offers all the comforts of home, including electricity, air conditioning, heating, a lake-fed shower and sink, and a compost toilet, as well as a large room with a fully functioning kitchen, dining area, and living room. Since it is lake fed, the shower is not operational from November through April and only bottled water can be used in the kitchen from November through April. In addition to the queen-sized bed, the sofa is a very comfortable spot for sleeping one adult, and we have a floor camping mattress if you need sleeping spots for more than three adults. A portable Pack 'n Play and high chair are provided if you have a little one. Bottled water is available for drinking. Whether you're exploring the nearby attractions or simply enjoying the serenity of the surroundings, you'll find everything you need for a memorable stay. With downtown Lincoln only 8 minutes away, you'll have access to restaurants, a laundry mat, and everything Lincoln has to offer. It's easy to see why you'll be able to unwind at our place.

Gwen and Andrew’s cabin was a perfect place to unwind and watch the beauty of the lake by morning, noon and night. It was very tidy, clean and very well thought out for the cozy space inside, with plenty of seating areas outside to move yourself with the sun throughout the day. They kindly offered use of their canoe to explore the peacefully quiet lake and fishing in the coves. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back again to rejuvenate in this peaceful place!

Andrew and Gwen are the nicest owners who took great efforts to make the cottage as cozy as possible. The cottage is clean and well equipped with a million dollar view window right on the lake shore. The cottage has a nice dock and swimming platform that you can fish or swim. We’re honored to be the first family to rent the cottage and will come back for another vacation.
