We had a very pleasant stay at Senssa Boutique Hotel. Everything feels new, modern and very well maintained. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is also quite convenient. Although the hotel is not right in the historic centre, it is only about a 10-minute walk away, so this was not an issue at all.

The only aspect I personally did not enjoy as much was the self check-in system and access via QR code. Before arriving, we had to complete the online check-in for everyone included in the reservation, and upon arrival we initially had some difficulty getting the QR code to work and had to watch the instructional video to understand exactly how to use it. It eventually worked fine, but when I am on holiday, I personally prefer the simplicity of arriving at a hotel and checking in at a reception desk rather than having to take care of everything online beforehand. That being said, this is mostly a matter of personal preference and did not significantly affect our stay. Overall, we had a very good experience and would happily recommend the hotel.

Design and general quality of the room is above the local market standard.

Beds mattress is way too hard. There is no reception which is unacceptable for a “boutique hotel” at this price point. Nobody to really talk to outside of usual business hours (have tried calling twice on two different days and nobody responded). No lift. Efforts for the breakfast set-up, while admirable, don’t really work for a property of this size - would recommend removing the breakfast option and using the facility for something else (gym / spa?). There’s a sewerage smell coming into the property. The QR codes are difficult to use.
