Root-Stone Lodge

The house is beautiful and the hot tub is in an excellent location with a great view. All-in-all a wonderful cabin in the woods, and it was spacious enough to accomodate everyone without feeling cramped. Tara is a wonderful host and very sweet.

The house is gorgeous and spacious, it was barely empty, and the scenery and vibes were so good. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was bigger than the bedroom, and everything was on point. If you like going off the grid, this is a perfect place! jacuzzi was spotless clean and we used during the night, it was reallyy peaceful !

I guess the kitchen area could use some improvement; we didn't use it, but I feel like some signage could be worth it.

Tara’s place is beautiful peaceful and comfortable. Her instructions were very clear on how to arrive and check-in. And Tara was very friendly and welcoming when we met her the next day. The place is a very quick 3 minute drive into town The room was lovely and well-appointed. And we loved the rustic lobby. Three of the rooms are up a large wide spiral staircase, so keep that in mind if you need to carry luggage. But that was fine for us. We had a great stay, and would absolutely stay there again.

The whole experience was easy, charming, friendly, and relaxing! Loved the location - close to town but in the forest, right by a creek. The room was cozy, clean, everything you need. With a balcony and beautiful bathroom and comfortable bed. The common areas are nice and it just feels like a simple way to enjoy a nature stay and get some fresh air.

A bug screen on the balcony door would be nice to sleep with that door open all the way and get the fresh air and hear the creek! Also, maybe the outdoor furniture could be wiped down more regularly but it wasn't that big of a deal.
