Family Haven with Hot Tub - Private Sauna Option Available

Very clean, new and well maintained. Decor was really lovely and the kitchen had all you needed. The bed was so comfortable. The hot tub, decking and sauna were clean and amazing. The staff were so friendly and really helpful Beautiful view

The walkway that goes to all the other accommodation in our row had to walk past us. When your sat in the hot tub you have no privacy. Could have done with an instructions book and local numbers. Couldn’t get hold of the reception or any staff by phone after the reception shuts. We needed towels and called but couldn’t speak to anyone. In the morning we called and then popped down to find someone who gave us towels and were very helpful.

Love the modern look and feel. Great to have the hot tub and sauna. Well equipped. Friendly staff. Easy to access Tesco 2 mins up the road. Parking outside close to residence. Great to have washing machine but a dryer would've been better than a dishwasher. Tv set up was brilliant and had netflix/prime etc. Nice to have tea/coffee and 4x washing pods.

No privacy, on a walkway so people always walking past whilst sat in the hot tub/sauna or even inside if the blinds aren't fully shut. Overlooked at the back in the bedrooms too. We wanted a relaxing quiet break and had booked a massage and planned a tlc night but due to lack of privacy and bits mentioned this wasnt made easy. Very modern but not finished well, some broken bits (pics attached). Plug sockets/bath panel etc. The wooden gate with the code wasn't easy to open/close and was left open a lot which then bangs in the wind or it slams closed. Water pressure in the showers were awful so wasn't nice showering. Light not working in the sauna so both evenings we were in the dark in there. Hot tub timer isnt long so had to restart each time and only one setting worked. Sofas were not comfortable at all so relaxing on these in the evening wasn't the best. Would've been good to have salt and pepper and also scissors in the drawer. I feel the price is a lot for what you get. We often do short breaks due to work and pets situation and feel we have had much better for our money. Sadly Ilfracombe seems very run down and let go. We stayed for the fright night at Watermouth castle which was good as near by. I feel £460 for 2 nights for 2 adults was not worth it. Not the tlc romantic weekend away in had envisioned.

Everything was new as we were only the 3rd booking. I was very impressed with the standard of the fixtures and fittings. All good brands . Very thorough maintenance checks on the hot tub every day.

We brought into the apartment a lot of the bark chippings on our shoes because it was so new and was not trodden down . Perhaps provide a brush and dustpan or a broom
