Very nice old school Japanese house with everything you need and a train station very close by. The bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean. There’s even a selection of noodles available for a small charge. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his friends, and they were super friendly. I’ll definitely be staying again in the future.

A real authentic taste of a home. This was the perfect place for my first night in Japan. It's not a polished hotel, but hotels are just hotels....this has the feel of a home. Endearingly quaint, with niknaks such as handmade ceramics and models and well loved vintage furniture. The owner was welcoming and friendly, we got along ok using google translate. I didn't sample the food places nearby, but there were some that looked good. ( I helped myself to the noodle snacks in the kitchen for the princely sum of a couple hundred yen.) The bath was very very welcome after a 16hr flight 😅. The bed was comfy, and it is a pretty quiet area. I would stay here again. It was a fantastic way to " land" in the culture.

The only reason i didn't stay longer was because i was meeting up with a group and we had a place booked together.
