Spacious New 3BR Home Near Uptown Charlotte - Private Baths - Peaceful Stay

There was a lot to like about this property. The location was convenient, the home was very spacious, and having a private bathroom for each bedroom was a huge plus for our group. The hosts did a great job stocking the home with thoughtful essentials, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hair dryer, quality towels, and plenty of cleaning supplies, which made it feel more like a hotel experience. The kitchen was also stocked with many of the basic necessities, and we appreciated having everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Most importantly, the hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. When we had an issue with the door code at check-in, they answered immediately and resolved it quickly, which we really appreciated.

There were a few things that kept this from being a five-star stay. The biggest issue was arriving to a home that was set to 78°F on a day when it was around 100°F outside, which made the house very uncomfortable upon arrival and it took several hours to cool down. While the home was clean overall, there were a few small spiders and webs in the corners of the stairwell, along with noticeable scuff marks on the walls that made the space feel less polished. The living room furniture was also not very comfortable for relaxing, and the kitchen could benefit from a few additional items, such as mixing bowls. Lastly, while there is an additional parking space, it can be difficult to use because a neighboring vehicle frequently parks very close to or over the line. I understand that this isn’t something the host can necessarily control, but it’s helpful for future guests to be aware of.
