El Mirador de Peñiscola

Lovely spacious apartment with comfortable beds and two bathrooms. The balcony view is glorious, overlooking the town, castle and sea. The swimming pool is very warm and open 12 hours a day. The apartment is clean and well maintained. The hosts were very helpful and responded quickly to queries. We came for the solar eclipse and found the top of the hill was a great location to view this.

I'm British and really missed having a kettle to boil water for my morning tea. We coped by using a saucepan but a kettle would be much easier. The air conditioning isn't in every room, meaning one bedroom in particular was very hot. When we book a holiday rental they usually provide a bottle of dish detergent and at least one full toilet roll, here we arrived late at night to find barely a quarter of a toilet roll and no dish detergent (small sachet in welcome pack that's all). The bathrooms are a bit dated (the shower doors were hard to slide, wobbly toilet seats) but fully functional. Street side waste bin is very far from the apartment and no recycling to be found. Lots of steps and not many hand rails down to the pool (obviously not the hosts responsibility but wanted to mention this).

El trato con el dueño fue muy buena ,el apartamento perfecto ,lo unico por decir algo es q esta arriba la montaña y el ciche hay q cojerlo para todo pero eso tambien tirne su ventaja se duerme mas fresquito

Faltaba el cable antena TV ( casi 3 dias sin TV) hasta que me lo.compraron y pude sintonizar los canales; el router de la casa está en el suelo del salon, junto a la mesa grande, con el peligro que ello tiene; faltan mesitas en camas de matrimonio; una de las habitaciones que tenía ventilador de techo no tenía mando por lo que no se podía encender para dar aire fresco; las tapas de los wc son de plástico y están sin ajustar correctamente por lo que se mueven de un lado al otro; y, por último, la salida de agua de algunos grifos tienen mucha cal y eso afecta a la presión.
