The apartment is newly renovated, very clean and in a good location, which is a strong advantage and could make it a really nice place to stay. The tenant's mother was trying her best and our requests met with a positive response.

Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing. On the day we arrived in Italy, only about 3/2 hours before check-in, we have received a message from the landlord that check-in is only between 1–3 PM and that outside these hours there is a €20 fee. This information was not in the booking description. When we asked about it, we were told in a very rude way that if we don’t pay, we cannot get the keys until the next day. In reality, the landlord’s mother lives next door and gave us the keys, but only after we paid the money. We felt forced to pay, otherwise we would have no place to stay even though we had already booked and paid. Our opinion is meant to warn other travelers about the unexpected extra payment and to show what they can be prepared for. The apartment itself is modern, but not well prepared for longer stays. There were no hangers, no sponge or dish soap, no working soap dispenser, no trash bins at first (the kitchen bin appeared only after 5 days) and toilet paper was given to us one roll at a time. It felt like they are still learning how to host guests.
