Had a really nice stay at Auberge Halder. Before booking, I noticed a few negative reviews and was a bit hesitant, but it seems like they've addressed many of those concerns. My experience was positive from start to finish-the place was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
One thing I’d definitely recommend is checking out their new café. The food and coffee were excellent, and it was a great addition to the overall experience.
Glad I gave this place a chance, and I’d happily stay here again!

Endroit accessible à partir d'une route principale.
Odeur de "renfermé" dans la chambre réservée. Etablissement se trouvant devant une route très passante et bruyante. Pas de bacs de recyclage sur place (ou non visible/accessible). Dans la salle de bain privative de la chambre, l'eau prend du temps à devenir chaude lorsqu'on la fait couler. Manque une table de chevet dans la chambre. Avoir une couverture de lit supplémentaire dans la chambre serait apprécié.

Only the location eventhough it’s very far from the city and Montreal . The scenic views towards this hotel is worth the drive . In my opinion this property is good for backpackers or over night stays. I would suggest to go with least expectation .. you’ll probably enjoy the location more due to its location around beautiful hills and streams.
My room was not ready despite arriving 2 hours after the check in time. The service was okay . They were hospitable enough . However I booked a room which said deluxe room with private bathroom ( apparently they only have one of this kind) . Just a heads up … the toilet is private but the bath or shower facility is common for all the rooms in the hotel even the large one if they have one. Food is over priced but tastes decent enough.
